The progress of technology is what helped the progress of the theatre industry and the arts. When used ethically, responsibly, and in moderation, it can be used as a resourceful tool. using AI to help organize your thoughts, create outlines, or to help proofread your papers is a perfectly acceptable application. Using AI to help organize your thoughts, create outlines, or to help proofread your papers is a perfectly acceptable application. However, Generative AI to write whole essays and whole art pieces is prohibited. Cell phones may be used in the classroom, but only at the instruction of the teacher and during brain breaks, otherwise cellphones are to be in bags (with the exception of students who use their cell phones as a medical device). We will be hand writing some assignments and practicing using technology in moderation.
IMPORTANT: Please understand that because this is an interactive class, there may be a need for physical contact by students and teacher for scene assignments and correction in the voice, diction, and body work units. Classroom expectations are that Consent is always asked every time. We will continue to practice our classroom culture of respect and kindness by being mindful and aware of those around you. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.
If you have any questions please feel free to email.
